Concrete driveways, sidewalks and walkways cleaned across Lexington, NC.

Red clay, algae and tire marks

Davidson County soil gets on everything. Rain carries clay off the shoulder and onto the drive, it dries orange, and a garden hose will not move it. Add the black algae that builds up in shade and the scuff where tires turn, and a five year old driveway can read as twenty. Pressure through a surface cleaner takes all of it off.

The method

Pretreat the problem spots first. Oil gets a degreaser. Rust gets a rust remover. Organic growth gets a cleaning solution and time to work. Then the surface cleaner covers the whole slab at even pressure so the finish is uniform, and hand work finishes edges, joints, steps and the curb.

Included

Driveway and apron, front walk, sidewalks along the property, garage pad, steps and porch concrete. Long rural drives outside town get measured and quoted by the foot.

How long it takes

One to three hours for most Lexington homes. Concrete lightens as it dries, so give it an hour before judging the result.

When

Any time it stays above freezing. Spring is the busiest stretch by a wide margin, and fall bookings ahead of the holidays fill up fast.
